Home Buyers report

Posted by Michael Thewlis, on
Can a builder provide an estimate for the work recommended in a home buyers report from the report without seeing the property in person? I understand that once the property is seen other, unforseen, issues may become apparent.

Hi Michael I would always want to see the property before giving quotations as the report would only have limited information to base costings on so they would not be accurate. Why would you not want the builder to see the property? Any increase in cost for a job always causes bad feelings ! Ed
