Good afternoon Philip. A good way to weatherproof the exterior of your property is to apply a water sealing product. I recommend Mathys Seco Super as it allows trapped water vapour to escape through the brickwork but prevents any further water penetration. Make sure the mortar joints are sound before applying seal. If needs be renew the mortar joints and allow 2 weeks to dry out prior to application.
