Insulation

Posted by Dale Duerden, on
Another question regarding my cold 1950s semi bungalow brick walls and concrete floor which is freezing in winter and chilly in summer.I want to start inside insulation in the kitchen first, but my kitchen is in good order and only about 5 years old ,would it be at all possible to remove kitchen appliances and units etc.install insulation and kind of replace as much as poss of old kitchen or will this need a complete new kitchen?Any advice would be great

Hi Dale I strongly recommend external wall insulation (EWI) it really is amazing it saves you between 40%_45% on your central heating it also prevents penetrating damp increases your properties energy rating as well as the value of the property with little or zero disruption to yourself everything is done from the outside
