What thickness should soiled insulation be in a internal stud wall

Hi Jason not sure what you mean by "soiled" insulation, the depth of the insulation would be determined by size of the timber used to build the wall. You shouldn't use an insulation thicker than the stud being used as it can cause the plasterboard to bulge. Ed
