"In a bid to engage local builders to start my first mini project on the garage and the failure to find anyone reliable locally, I resorted to the internet and stumbled upon the Rated People website. After registering my details, the builder contacted me soon after I posted a job for construction of a garage and workshop. We arranged a time to meet that same weekend for arrangement of a quote for the work. I received a written quote detailing the work to be carried out after requesting this from the builder. The quote was quite competitive and despite his zero rating did not discourage me from engaging him. Work started as scheduled and was completed within the time frame. The builder was friendly and professional throughout. The builder kept me informed of the progress of the build and was quite flexible with changes I recommended to the original plan. The builder kept a good rapport with my neighbours who were full of praises for him. In concluding, a first class service from this builder which I highly recommend for any job - big or small. "
