"Originally I rated this builder as five star having believed him to have done an excellent job taking up floor boards and fixing a leak in a flat we rent out. We trusted him in the flat alone and he returned the keys safely to the letting agents and communication was great. However, once returning to the flat, we realised that after taking the skirting board off to lift the floor he had left 2 large holes in the wall when replacing them - I would've thought a builder who have to fix this, aren't they meant to leave a place the way they found it? Once tenants moved into the flat the leak reoccured. I was advised work by a builder should be under guarantee and so persistently phoned the builder to ask if he would go back out and look at it and he just ignored my numerous voicemails. I have thus had to pay once again for another builder to go out and look at it in the hope that it will be repaired. I can only assume on trusting him in the flat alone, he did not actually fix the leaks, if he did I would have appreciated that the holes in the wall were refilled and even a phone call back would have been nice. Therefore very disappointed and annoyed with the way this all turned out."
