"Steve's written quote was very good. Once the work was agreed Steve attended on time and finished the work quickly. Howver Steve was unable to provide a receipt on completion and we subsequently found that a radiator pipe had been damaged when one of the floorboards were uplifted. Whilst the damage was fairly minor and doesn't require serious repair, we felt that as we weren't told about the damage, this affected our final assessment of the quality. Also, we're still waiting for the receipt promised by Steve (4 days after completion). Overall, the job was value for money and was to a reasonable standard."
