"Nick started brightly, but unfortunately became rather like a teenager in the end, lots of excuses for not turning up etc.
He assured us that he would give us six weeks after care of our lawn - never happened, that he would be back to lay a path - never happened, four weeks after the end of the job we still have his skip on our property as he hasn't paid the skip company, and the patio he laid is already starting to lift. He doesn't pick up his phone, or reply to any emails.
Nick is definately cheap, but be warned - it will not be painless."

"Yes apparently being in a plaster prevents you from replying to emails, answering calls and paying for skips. Equally all emails now winging their way to solicitor clearly stating acorn being responsible for skips, and messages from them telling me it had been paid for. A great shame the garden ended this way. As I said before be warned... Dealing with this company will not be painless... Broken ankles, swine flu, trips to Ibiza, the excuses are endless! Good luck "
