"Arrived on time, examined central heating / boiler system carefully and gave clear, detailed advice about the cause and solution of the problem. It turned out that no repair was required, so the only charge was a very reasonable service fee to cover time spent finding and explaining the problem, bleeding a radiator, adjusting the pressure of the boiler and checking that it was basically OK. I recommend this tradesperson highly, and would contact them again for any other central heating jobs that may arise."

"I am afraid I would not recommend this company; their after-sales service is non-existent and as soon as I paid them they seem to have vanished off the face of the planet, and refuse to return phone calls and emails (my so-called five year guarantee is now worth very little indeed!).
If I had rated them the day after the job, I would be giving a reasonable rating, as they provided a cheaper quote than other companies, and until I paid them did exactly what they said they would. I thought at the time that the job had been done to an acceptable standard (a bit quick and shabby in some respects but given the competitive quote I could live with that). I think this would explain why the majority of ratings for go-green seem to be positive.
However, faults have since developed with the system and my calls are not being returned. I have had to call out an alternative heating engineer to fix one problem (who, incidentally, was appalled at some of the short cuts which had been taken in doing the work which was not obvious to my untrained eye), and the control unit really needs replacing as it is going through batteries abnormally quickly. In addition, the CORGI paperwork I was promised at the time would come through in a few weeks has never materialised.
Since I called them in (now about 6 months ago) I have noticed other ratings on ratedpeople reflecting a similar experience, so at least I know its not just me!
I have given them several chances and six months to turn it around, but to no avail. Please avoid!
