"Not at all recommended. They were in to do various jobs. I was originally told it would take two to three weeks. It ended up taking two months. It also came in over budget.
They left the flat in a terrible condition - there was rubbish everywhere, despite the fact that they said they had ordered a skip. But worst of all was the dust from plastering. I think they must have sanded the walls to get a good finish, because dust had got into everything. There was also paint and plaster on the floors and sofa, so these have had to be thrown out. Even the carpet in one room where they weren't supposed to be doing any work was ruined.
They have also done a shoddy job on laying some laminate floor. They've not leveled the floor off under the panels, so it's wonky and slipping.
They also left the walls in one room they were working in covered in black streaks.
They possibly left in a hurry because the last day I saw them in the flat they had a young child with them. Not the best practice.
I've left phone messages and I've emailed them since they finished, but they've made no attempt to get back to me. Probably because they know the flat is unusable as is.
