"Paul (PSM) was brilliant. He came out and gave a quote very quickly and was selected to do the work needed. He arrived at the time he said he would and did a fantastic job on our living room. He did extra jobs for us and will definately be using him next year when we decorate upstairs. He was reliable, reasonable and we felt comfortable leaving him in our home to do the work. A massive job to us was so easy to him! Our living room looks amazing!"

"Agreed price was £480 for two coats (or £380 for one coat) of Wickes Dark Oak Dye after sanding, for 9 interior doors (6 normal size and 3 narrow factor doors). Work was to take about 2 days to complete. After inspecting the work done in the first day I was dissappointed to see that the colour was not the agreed one, despite them insisting that Wickes Dark Oak dye was used. Also some of the doors' finish was quite bad as brush marks were very apparent and inconsistent in direction and thickness and no sign of the wood's natural "watermarks" was left to come through as I was originaly told. I still do not believe that sanding was done (or at least done properly) firstly because of the lack of watermarks and secondly because when I sanded parts of doors and applied the sample dye (from a sample they gave me) I got a totally different result. The wood's natural watermarks came through nicely and the colour was much closer to what I was expecting to see. Furthermore, I found no traces of wood grain around the area where work was done which increased my suspicions that no sanding took place. They claimed that this is because they had cleaned it all up but I am still in disbelief. I think Keith and Dave are great chaps but they should stick to gardening and exterior work. Although I shouldn't have, I gave them £100 to go away."
