His preparation and skill ensured a fantastic looking result, as well as one that will protect our wooden windows/doors from the weather; he advised on a colour for external render that looks incredibly smart; he was reliable, professional and absolute value for money. He was honest about the work needed (no drumming up unnecessary extras - in fact he advised against some work we were thinking might need doing), his quote came in swiftly, his estimate was bang on the nail - no nasty surprises - and he took a rather chaotic household (small baby, my mum, my dog and sometimes my husband) in his stride and was genuinely pleasant to have around. I really can't fault any aspect of his work or stage of dealing with him at all. Recommended without hesitation."
