"would not recomend this person, made a mess of mums bungalow, and charged outrages price, left brand new fire suround hanging of wall, had to have a new one fitted again, and wallpaper on front wall did not match, bodge job! very dissapointing thought he was nice person ? was wrong mum died two week later"

"So sorry to say this as Frank seemed to be a very nice man. Initially quoted us for hall, kitchen diner, upstairs landing and 1 bedroom. I asked him to just do hall, landing and bedroom and he came the next day. However, it became obvious quite quickly that his attention to detail was non-existant. Claimed he had never painted walls without the woodwork (this is a new development) therefore did not need to pay attention to getting paint on the skirting/round the window and sill etc. Did not use tape round light switches etc. Said he had never heard of that in 30-odd years of painting. He did wash off what he could but still I had to go round afterwards cleaning paint off woodwork and getting paint off my carpet. He left my home unlocked when he'd 'finished the job' but then came back the next morning to clear up the mess. His mind was elsewhere i'm sure, and left without asking when i would need him back to do the kitchen diner. I'm afraid both Frank and I know that will not happen. Sorry again, but i would not recommend Frank to anyone."
