"You get a trade person in because you dont have the time, skill, and because you want a good job (in my case because i dont like heights!). Gary is a really nice bloke but when i asked him to paint my guttering i expected him to paint all of it and not just the outside (as where the water runs will rott, in wooden guttering) and the fall pipes, all the way around and not just the front which is visible (as the back will rust, in iron fall pipes). I guess its partly my fault for not pointing out exactly what i wanted but as a nurse when i ask a patient if they want a wash i dont just wash their face and hands! i ask what they want and am prepared to help them with a full wash. That said he came back and finished the job without argument."
