"Totally unprofessional. They decided our carpet was “done” and didn’t put any dust sheets down. When we informed them that we were keeping the carpet and asked them to put some down, they brought in two tiny blankets and we supplied a couple of sheets of our own. This didn’t seem to help as the carpet was completely covered in plaster. We complained to them about this and asked for a discount to help towards the cost of having the carpet professionally cleaned at this point they became aggressive and threatening. We have spent well over a whole day cleaning the carpet, skirting boards, doors and our path. They left a bucket of used plaster and bags round the corner from our house which our neighbours complained to us about. The plastering is also not done to the paint finish we were promised. We have spent more than a day sanding and filling bits but it still looks a mess. Normally we would have got them back to get them to sort it but after their behaviour we do not feel comfortable having them in our house so eventually we got a second opinion. They have told us that it has been done terribly and that we will need to either have it redone or paper it. We were quoted for a 2 day job but for some reason unbeknown to us they decided to get it done in a day, I’m not sure if this is why it is like it is.
