"Kieran came to remove a bath and fit a new shower base which, due to restrictions, was to have the wastepipe fitted above the floor. He was also to install new white goods and 'tidy up'/conceal some pipework. Unfortunately, 2 months later I'm just getting the bathroom tidied up after re-doing much of the work myself. The shower wastepipe leaked from installation and it had to be raised on a plinth to get the necessary flow. We had discussed this during his initial quote but he didn't do it - the water was lying in the wastepipe. The cistern was left without any fixing to the wall, the wash basin was sitting on an unfixed pedestal (mounted to the wall by two unplugged screws) and the tap & wastetrap which he couldn't fit, I've been able to sort out myself. A plastic fitting on a towel radiator was cracked, a copper pipe in the downstairs toilet is leaking. And I can't say if the radiator-cleaning fluid he requested has been used, as the water dripping from the leak is black. I'm angry with myself for not being more thorough in inspecting the quality of the work before payment - especially given the fact that only a day and a half was spent on the job. It seems my trust was somewhat misplaced, hence why I have not made contact to ask Kieran to rectify the situation. "
