"Very disappointed with this company, who gave us a quote which we accecpted and paid a 700 pound deposit for the work in April. We had to chase them for a date for fitting (although to be fair, we had said that we wanted it done in the summer holidays, but the first two weeks of the holiday came and went with no contact initiated by them). We were eventually given a vague date, then when we phoned to confirm they then gave us a date the following week. When we phoned THE DAY BEFORE to ask what time they would be arriving the following day we were informed that they could not do the work as they could not make a bespoke roof for the size of our conservatory. I thought bespoke meant made-to-measure?? They said that the cheque was in the post to return our deposit, which it indeed was, but incorrectly filled out. Only the politeness of Katie, the receptionist. and speedy action in arranging a bank transfer redeemed this company at all. No phone call of apology from the manager, and had we not phoned the day before we would not have known that the work was not going to be carried out. So, this company has benefitted from the interest on our deposit since April, but couldn't be bothered to do us the courtesy of a phone call. Not impressed."

"The owner contacted us the day I requested this assistance and arranged to visit 2 days later. He arrived on time and was extremely helpful. He advised that any alterations would not improve the natural light coming into our kitchen and explained that it would be a waste of money. I was impressed by his honesty and professionalism. Mr Cherwin did not charge for his advice despite having travelled some distance to visit us. A pleasant man who made us feel we could trust him."
