Job description:Our SkyHD only allows us to watch/record on one channel instead of two. Been like this for about 15 months now when one day we just lost the ability to record and watch different channels. Had it looked at before, 3 instances of BT sending people round who werent "heights team" was frustrating as they came and left very quickly after asking where the dish was (health and safety etc). Then we got an independant company out who wedged a big ladder up the side of the house between two walls, got on the roof then said that someone had pulled one of our cables out and inserted theirs in (or something to that effect). Great - easy solution we thought! Then said that because the 8 cables going in are all full (even though its our sky dish) they refused to unplug another cable and plug us back in, and then proceeded to quote us £400 plus VAT to install a new satellite dish. So I assume this shouldn't be such a huge task, the issues are its up high on the top of a building with 8 shared flats. If someone could put a big ladder up, plug us back in - we should be fixed.
