Job description:Install an aerial on a new build house and connect the aerial, with installation of appropriate booster, to the preinstalled wires which terminate in the attic. The property is a detached house with a fake chimney on an accessible side, but ladder likely required for outside (2 storey house). There is at this stage no ladder installed to the attic so own ladder required internally for attic access. There are approximately 7 rooms to which the installed wiring link up, so an appropriate booster assumed to be required. Would also consider the following additional works depending on cost: 1) The builders would only install a TV socket to the rooms, but ideally I was after a system of aerial distribution via co-ax (which is installed) and a second set of co-ax cables to allow a feed around the house, e.g. the picture from a digital box with control via magic eye etc. If additional wires could be run and the sockets changed from single to double to facilitate this I may be interested in taking this up. (N.B. the property is breeze block external walls and timber frame/plasterboard internally and wires already run to all required rooms) 2) At some point I expect to have satellite TV, and I would also be interested in installing satellite co-ax (two to each room to allow sky plus/HD) to the lounge, 2 of the main bedrooms and the kitchen. If it is obvious where a satellite would be installed then I would be happy that these were terminated in an approriate place within the attic. alternatively an appropriate length to allow future installation would be acceptable. As with 1, if the sockets could be approriately changed so that these terminated neatly that would be ideal. May be interested in buying a suitable dish, though subject to how this would work for Freesat or with Sky without causing them issues acceepting the connection. I appreciate that only up to 4 connections could actually be made to a domestic dish and would initially propose only to link up the lounge and bedroom for Sky plus/HD with other connection left in attic.
