Moved into a new property and very poor signal from TV aerial in Bablake

Job description:It appears that there are 3 aerial connection points within the house (lounge, bedroom, kitchen), but there is a very, very poor signal from all of them, in fact, pretty much no signal at all. Just getting white noise. One connection point in the kitchen will produce a signal, albeit a poor one when connected to a signal booster. We do have Virgin Media via cable, so obviously we can get nearly all the channels that way, but it would be nice to get DTV too and the standard signal, at least until that is switched off this year and don't want to be soley dependant on Virgin and feel tied in to them.
