Freeview stopped working in Blakelaw

Job description:I have a digital aerial in the loft. At first freeview worked fine. Then it only worked if the antenna cable was in a specific configuration. Now it doesn't work at all. I do not think the problem is with the aerial, I think it is with the output socket on the living room wall. I had a similar problem in another house a few years ago. The problem was fixed in about 5 mins. As such I don't expect this to be too expensive.
