Needed: Bathroom Specialist in Norman, TN23
Job submitted:Mar 28, 2008
Job description:We have a Victorian house and have just ordered a new bath & toilet from B & Q. The bathroom is in average condition - there is some damp in places but a lot of the walls has been recently replastered. We also have a new double sink solid oak vanity unit to install. This suite is to be installed into roughly the same positions as the old suite. So, the job involves: Removing old wc, bath and handbasin Stripping exisiting local tiling off walls Stripping up vinyl laminate style flooring. we would like the walls panelled with PVC tounge and groove up to waist height (but would also consider new local tiling if more cost effective) New flooring (probably tiled) to be laid. Installation of new WC, freestanding bath, double sink vanity unit. Any making good as required. We will undertake any repainting work. The suite is currently on order and has a 6 week lead time. We are therefore not in a position to commence work until approx early May. This is a busy family home, also used as a childminders premises. Please note that children will be on the site and whilst we'll keep them out of the way of the work please be aware that they are there - e.g. take care to shut stair gates, front door etc. You will also need to sign a visitors register each day as per Ofsted requirements. On the plus side, we're happy to make cups of tea and have a well stocked biscuit tin so you will be looked after! (We also have a sense of humour which helps!)
