Job description:I have just moved into a house in Winkfield Row. The property is a 2 up-2 down terrace cottage built circa 1870. It has an up stairs bathroom in the rear addition. I would like to completely redo the bathroom including new bath, sink, toilet and cistern, vinyl floor, walls and install an extractor fan. There had previously been an extractor fan in the room but for some reason this has been removed and the void covered with a vent. At present any water on the rim of the bath close to the taps can run straight to the floor and this has left at least 1 floorboard possibly rotten. The room has a new double-glazed window so this is fine. All of the waste pipes are routed directly to the outside of the bathroom where they join up with the main drain pipe. Also the insulation in the room is poor, and has left some moldy damp patches and so I would be interested in adding some form of additional insulation depending on cost.
