Job description:I own a 3 storey Victorian terrace house in Montpelier, Bristol. It currently has only a ground floor bathroom with a WC that enters the drain directly in the bathroom floor. There is currently no soil stack outside. The job is to convert a 2nd floor landing cupboard (plus part of a bedroom) into a new small shower room with shower, WC and basin. Floor size: Approx 2400 x 800mm. The new room will be approx 3.7m from the external wall. Work to include: Construct partition walls, roof and entry door. Install new soil pipe (approx 4m long) from new WC running under floorboards of adjacent room between joists, with adequate slope and minimum intrusion above floorboards in adjacent room. Install new external soil stack, feeding into existing drain, plus adequate rodding points and venting. Install and plumb mixer shower (or electric shower if preferred), basin and WC. Install extractor fan (to tile roof vent) and light. Ensure compliance with Building Regs.
