Job description:Top floor flat (only two floors) and curently there is an issue with a leak into the flat below. This could be due to a mastic issue which I have tackled today or could be due to a leak in a pipe somewhere. Unfortunately the bath panel is a wooden panel stuck to the bath and the pipes are also covered by permanently fixed wooden boxing. This makes it difficult to pin point the problem. As a result the panelling will probably have to come off and it won't be possible to simply re-attch it. My first priority tis to fix the leak problem but if the panelling has to come away it would make sense to take the opportunity to re-do the bathroom completely as the bath is far from ideal in size anyway. What would need doing is: New bath suite installed - bath, basin and toilet Possible knocking through a wall (into cupboard area) to extend room for a bigger bath) I would probably tackle tiling myself although I would also like a separate quote to include it should I change my mind.
