Both our toilets in our apartment have very weak flush with water continuously flowing back into... in Bradford

Needed: Bathroom Specialist in Bradford, M4

Job submitted:Feb 6, 2012

Job description:Both our toilets in our apartment have very weak flush with water continuously flowing back into the pan after flushing. Previous visits from plumbers have blamed the flushing devices inside the cisterns, which seems to be sticky in parts not moving as they should. A plumber advised us that replacing the cheap flushing units would be a cost-effective way to check whether this solves it. If not, it seems inevitable that both toilets would need replacing entirely. This is where it gets complicated as the cisterns are behind tiled walls and are difficult to access, requiring the fake tile wall concealing them to be taken down and re-built. In this event, the areas that would have be to removed, re-built and re-tiled would be around 4 metres squared. We would like to be quoted for 2 scenarios: 1.just the replacement of the two flushing units and related labour to fine-tune the flushing (assuming this works). 2. If this doesn't work, replacing both toilets, then building back the fake wall concealing the cisterns and retiling this area (assume 4m sq.). Quotes to include parts and labour, split out.

Budget:Under £1,000
