Re-build of en-suite bathroom in West Wickham, Kent in West Wickham
Needed: Bathroom Specialist in West Wickham, BR4
Job submitted:Sep 20, 2011
Job description:Previous en-suite bathroom shower, toilet and sink and internal stud walls have already been removed, walls have been re-finished in preparation for this work. Aquaboard to be employed in construction of new stud walls (in the corner of bedroom) to create an en-suite bathroom with dimensions of approx 1.2m x 2.2m. The new bathroom will require fitting of a toilet, basin and shower with standard shower tray (i.e. not wet room). All internal walls and floor will be tiled. The floor base is wooden floorboards on wooden joists. I have already purchased ‘no more ply’ and flexible tile adhesive to give an appropriate foundation for the floor tiles. New lighting, electric shaver plug point and a new extractor fan also need fitting. A new radiator is also required for the en-suite. A hole already exists in the external wall for the fan exhaust and new wiring is already present including an isolation switch for the extractor. All plumbing and toilet waste pipework is also already in situ apart from the radiator feed, however, access to the existing pipework of the main bedroom radiator is fairly straight forward as the floorboards are fully exposed and the room empty. I will supply all tiles, tile adhesive, tile adhesive latex additive, tile grout and floor tile sub-base materials. I will also supply the new shower cubicle, toilet, basin, radiator (plus valves), lights, extractor fan, shave point and door / door fittings. The work must be completed to a high standard.
Budget:Under £2,000
