Job description:just had a hb report on a property i want to buy,it says The stack is weathered and in need of localised repointing to prevent further decay and disrepair. The pots are probably loose and should be rebedded in cement mortar. When this work is done, all pots, mortar beddings (flaunchings) and flashings/fillets (weatherproofing details) should be checked for any disrepair.
