Job description:I have knocked down 3/4 of the exisiting fireplace but due to a lintel from previous owners work I have had to leave 2 support pillars in place. The solution is to brick up the hole whilst supporting the brickwork above and eventually bricking up the entire hole to leave wall flush. If that makes sense? The area would then require some plastering work. The entire room requires skimming but that's another job.
