Job description:I do not use the open fire in our living room often but when I do it does not draw very well (although it burns ok) and smoke drifts into the room. The chimney has been regularly swept and the sweep says there is no blockage but maybe a different type of cowl would fix it (it is a late 1920s semi). I would like to sort this out at least by Christmas.
