Partially retaining, decorative garden wall in Ardsley and Robin Hood

Needed: Bricklayer in Ardsley and Robin Hood, LS10

Job submitted:Jun 2, 2007

Job description:I would like a partially retaining garden wall, approx 17 feet long build between the garage and the house. The wall would retain garden of 9 inches at one end to about 2 feet at the other end (although the entire wall would be higher approx 5-6 foot - see later). I would like it built in red 'scratched' brick to match the house. Also I would like a half sunshine design to be incorporated using yellow 'scratched' brick also matching those in the house. This design would be a semi-circle, of these yellow bricks with a number of evenly spaced straight lines radiating outwards (to simulate rays). All the sunshine design would protrude slightly. Further I would like the top of the wall to have at least three (filled) arches with the arcs being even in all the arches. Preferably I would like the span of the arches to match the curve of the wooden full length gate I would like attaching between the wall and the house. Finally I would like decorative metal spikes to be incorporated into the top of the wall. The height of the wall (minus spikes) should be approximatly the same as the fence which is currently there and which this wall would be replacing. The site can be viewed from the road at any time.

Budget:I'm not sure
