Job description:We are considering moving an upstairs wall between bedrooms by a small amount and would like a builder to quote to see whether it is worth it! We needs this done fairly quickly as we are about to replace the carpet upstairs. We'd like the moved wall to be plastered and coving/skirting replaced ready for us to decorate. In this room the floorboards also need some attention as they are very creaky! The second job is that we also have a stud wall separating part of the garage into a utility room which we definitely want moved a few feet - plumbing and electrics would need to be moved.
