Job description:Works to front elevations (roughly 24ft wide) This 2 storey detached house currently has bay windows to ground and 1st floor rooms, a porch and an 8ft balcony (accessed from a bedroom) at 1st floor over the porch. It is proposed to remove: a) the balcony and porch b) ground floor bay & window c) bay and window on the lst floor d) front door e) brick edged 'bed' under the ground floor bay window (slate in bed be removed prior to works) and to install new a) porch fully double glazed - 3ft nearer the existing front door b) flat double glazed windows (two opening - both main and top) on ground floor (i.e. losing the bay to the room) c) flat double glazed windows (as above) on whole bay on 1st floor (i.e losing the bay) d) balcony on three pillars across whole frontage e) double glazed glass front door and side panels (with large letterbox) In addition during works - clear and check all gutters and downpipes, repairing as necessary. (Note: Much of the above is based on how No. 121 have achieved a similar effect). (In addition as a separate job (but one which might be combined) the existing garage might be removed).
