Job description:We have two one storey outhouses currently not connected to the property (although the roof is connected to the side of the house). Want to connect them to the house and create an indoor toilet and pantry area, asbestos roof will need to be replaced, insulation applied to the outhouses and walls knocked through to create the rooms we want. We have had designs drawn up by a civil engineer and now in a position to get quotes and discuss possibly knocking down the outhouses and building a new extension from scratch. The problem being that they currently share a wall with outhouses in our neighbours' garden and we would not want to compromise the stability of her buildings. We would be interested in hearing back from builders who have done this sort of thing before (ideally with references).
