Job description:Kitchen extension Good afternoon. I’m looking for someone to build a single story extension to the rear of my semi-detached property in Bromley, Kent. The extension is to enlarge the current small kitchen. I believe the extension will not require planning permission as it is falls under ‘permitted development’ and does not fall within ‘party wall’ regulations. I currently do not have any plans drawn up for the project so would be interested in builders that could either supply their own or have contacts with a draughtsman/architect that could supply them if required. The exact size of the extension is flexible dependant on effectiveness of materials used and cost however we would be looking at something around 3m x 4m. 4m across the back of the existing structure and 3 m out from existing structure. As you can see from the attached photographs the extension will have to marry in with the gabled roof line of the existing kitchen and so it therefore may be difficult to allow for a sloped roof on the extension so we would consider a flat roof extension dependant on your ideas. We would like the garden side of the extension to have either patio doors or bi fold doors onto the garden. Also dependant on light in the extension and costing we would be interested in incorporating a roof light or velux style window. There would be no other wall side openings/windows. I intend on fiiting the kitchen myself so would require the extension to be finished to second fix electrics and skimmed for decoration and flooring. We are looking for a builder with experience of building extensions and who would be able to supply references if required. Work to start as soon as possible. Ideal start date: as soon as possible
Budget:Under £15,000
