Garage coversion in Addiscombe

Job description:We have a large garage that can fit 2 cars or maybe 3. Its L shaped. its got masonry walls and corregated sheets for the roof. Its got a very old garage door that can only open from inside. Ideally, I would want to renovate the whole garage and there are 3 options. 1- build it into secure and modern garage with a nice driveway and waterproof garage. There will also be lots of storage inside. This can be the games room. 2- convert this garage into a Nanny complex with heating, power, loo facility and suitable roofing. As there is space, we can consider to build the back of the garage for the car and the front for the room. This will hopefully not require council planning permission as we are Not extending anything, but using the exisitng framework. 3- the 3rd option is the most complex. This would need council permission. I want to builld another floor and effectively convert the whole garage into a small house. I do feel there is enough space over there for us to work on, and although it will be small, it will allow me to let my elder parents live on our door step. I appreciate that all 3 options are quite far apart in terms of what we can do, but I have to know the quotes & how feasible either of them are, so that I can make a balanced judgement. At the same time, some of my options might not be do-able, and you can provide me the valuable feedback & suggestions. At this stage I am looking for quotes and my wife and I feel it is better to build the space rahter than to move out elsehwere.
