Job description:I'm looking to have a 2 storey extension built on our end terrace house. This extension can either go onto the back of the house (option 1) or the side of the house (option2). I'm open to other options if you can come up with them! Option 1 - this would mean an additional living room on the ground floor, and adding a small wc and moving the existing conservatory to the side. Looking for this room to be mainly glass on 2 sides (south & east facing). Upstairs, there would be a bedroom with an on suite shower room. Access to this room, would need to be through existing bedroom, possibly with partition wall to make a wee corridor. Option 2 - this would mean a long living dining area along the side of the house downstairs, including a small wc. Again this room, would be largely glass along the east & south facing sides. Upstairs access to the new bedroom with on suite and bathroom would be through the old bathroom. Both options would obviously be subject to planning etc.
