Job description:I need a "lean to" boiler room built on the side of the property to house a wood fuelled boiler and accumulator tank. This is more of a "shed" rather than extension as I don't need access to it from inside the house. I'm undecided whether to have it built from blockwork with a pitched roof to match the existing house, or go for something quicker and simpler. The important thing is for it to be super-insulated. Area will be about 2m by 4m, 2.4 m high at the ceiling. I have a plumber organised to do the pipework, and an electrician able to do the limited work needed. I'm prepared to do some of the work myself if necessary as long as this doesn't upset the Building Regs people.
