House extension in Fareham North West

Job description:2 bedrooms and shower room extension over existing flat roofed garage and kitchen to the side of our house. Approximate size of area is 25' x 8' internal, we would like to extend this to a 10' internal width by going over the side access to the house using brick pillars. Advice on possibility. Further added consideration is larger back bedroom over the the existing lounge, internal size 15' x 15'. Concerns on this are blocking out sunlight to our neighbours garden.
