Job description:We would like to turn our one bedroom flat into a two bedroom flat by expanding the existing bathroom into a bedroom. This would involve removing a supporting wall, installing a beam and building a new wall three feet into the existing kitchen. We would like to create an internal bathroom by subdividing an existing bedroom. We've been told that this would require alterations of the drain at the back of the property. Plastering and cornicing would be required in keeping with the style of the property. We have an architect but plans have not yet been drawn.
