Build fire retaining wall, re-insulate loft space, board floor and install loft hatch and ladder in Cradley and Foxcote

Needed: Builder in Cradley and Foxcote, B63

Job submitted:Apr 26, 2011

Job description: A section of brick, fire retaining wall (approx 3m by 2.5m) between my property and next door needs to be built either out of plaster board or breeze block. This will require compliance with the building regulations and the builder needs to be in contact with the Local Authority to ensure all work is up to standard. There are no plans in place. The insulation needs to be replaced and the floor boarded. The joists may need to be built up to accommodate this. The current loft hatch needs to be replaced with a larger hatch and integral loft ladder to make access easier. The property was built in the 1930s and has good head room. The loft is approximately 35 m2

Budget:Under £2,000
