Damp problems in porch taken into house a few years ago with single brick wall in Capel St Mary

Job description:A small porch was replaced with double glazing and a single brick outer wall so that room to get down side passage. In winter very cold and wall is damp, so much so that carpet and anything within about 1 foot of wall gets mouldy. Need some radical solutions!!
