Job description:The job is in the existing kitchen. We plan to redesign the kitchen. It is about 7 metres long and two wide. As this is an extension, one wall is the old external wall of the cottage, which is quite old (1765). The extension was built in 1988. Just over half way along the kitchen there is an arch and a wall which cuts half way across. We are not yet sure if this is an important supporting wall. We want to remove this wall to make the kitchen space larger. Currently the hob with overhead extractor are right next to the wall that will be removed, so they would need to be removed by an electrician, preferably one working with the builder. Hob and units to be decommisioned and removed. Partial wall (spans half the width, about 2 metres) needs to be removed and replaced with support.
