Job description:Outline To remove a kitchen from one room of a semi-detached Edwardian house in Stoneygate/Evington, keeping all useful parts possible, and fit a kitchen elsewhere in the house, using as much of the original kitchen as possible. Skills needed: general building work including plumbing, joinery, electrical work, kitchen fitting, brick work and plastering. Detailed description: ROOM 1 1) remove whole kitchen from one room, keeping oven, hob, extractor, sink unit, taps and any other salvageable units. 2) move combi boiler out of old kitchen room (although only to the other side of same wall) 3) make good this room (including replastering walls where necessary, and rebuilding chimney breast and fireplace where it was removed to position hob and extractor. Fit gas fire in chimney breast from other room (as below) ROOM 2 4) knock out chimney breast (removing existing gas fire) to fit oven/hob/extractor 5) fit kitchen using whatever units from first kitchen and others (including tops, doors etc.) supplied by owner 6) knock out shower unit in downstairs adjacent bathroom to reposition washing machine and dryer, making good walls and floor as necessary 7) build large fitted cupboard into recess
