Convert integrated garage into a kitchen diner incl removal of 2 walls to open up space and fit out in Eccles
Needed: Builder in Eccles, M30
Job submitted:Jun 5, 2009
Job description:Early 90's build. Our integrated garage is currently partitioned to create a study/storage room. Front third or so is still used a garage space with the original up and over door. We have a small kitchen at the front of the house with a narrow corridor running between it and the garage. What we would like to do is open up the kitchen to the garage space by removing the two apparently load bearing walls that currently create the corridor to create a more open plan kitchen diner. We'd like to have a new kitchen and appliances fitted and are happy to keep it all situated where it is at present, and use the garage space for the dining and storage area. Due to the odd shape that is created by the boxed in understairs, we'd like a bespoke storage solution created around it to disguise it's presence and give us much needed storage space. The idea is to put a false wall right across the back end of the garage and build cupboards into it with doors to match the kitchen. We would like someone who can sort the lot for us. Bricklaying, window fitting, electrics, plumbing, flooring, heating, plastering, tiling, disposal - everything! Sorry but I don't have any measurements at present, but it is a quite a small dimensioned early 90's 3 bed detached house. We're looking for a trusted tradesman/company with pride in their work who can do a quality and efficient job in one stint and leave us happy in our home. Thanks.
Budget:£8,000 - £15,000
