Job description:When we bought our house the surveyors noted that the front and rear parts of the gable elevation cantilevered outwards at the front and rear corners, the brickwork being supported by the provision of rolled steel angles, exposed and coated with White gloss paint. Horizontal cracking was present in the mortar jointing to the front and rear corners of the gable elevation, where the rolled steel angle was embedded.
