Job description:Need chimney breast altering to cater for housing 2x oven and microwave housing units of 300x2250mm in back room of flat. Had plans drawn up by structural engineer. Involves putting a lintel across front of chimney breast, cutting down to meet existing stone pillars in fireplace, removing access brick and making good ready for plastering. Want to keep costs down if possible by doing the labouring and brick removal myself. Just want the skilled bits doing by tradesman.
