Job description:After smelling damp from the wall behind my kitchen cupboards and noticing the pointing and render blowing outside I had a drain repositioned. The rain water was completely missing the drain and staying in a puddle near my back wall. However after a lot of rain recently it still smelt, after looking at another drain that services both myself and the neighbours house notice that there could be a crack in the pipe under the concrete that leads to the main drain. Also the original iron drainage pipe that comes down the wall from the gutter does not go right into the drain but sits on top and therefore the concrete behind as eroded and there is a hole where water may be getting inside.
