Double storey extension in Aspley

Job description:A double storey extension on the side of an end terraced ex-council house. Top room to be a medium sized bedroom with ensuite. The stairs are at the side of the house so the possible idea was not to knowck any walls down but create the 2 storeys just basically stuck on the sideof the building and the door that currently leads into the house will be the door that connects the current living room to the extra living space, in which a new front door will be added onto the extended part ? I have no idea about builders language so this is the best I can explain. Thanks
