Job description:We are buying a 1930's red brick cottage and want to knock down the current single storey 1070's kitchen and build a double storey extension. We have submitted for planning permission so will be looking to start before easter next year ideally. We don't have detailed drawings at present and are willing to review how this is done as our current architect is quite expensive!! Before then, we want to change the staircase as the angle is currently too steep. Ideally we want to have this work completed in the first week of January before we move in, there is some damp that needs addressing at the same time.
